In June 2018 we had 10 days free after the schoolyear so my son and I made a cycling trip to the quite isolated country of Belarus. It's now possible to make a short visit visa-free if you enter the country at Pererov (Bialowieza) by bike or on foot. (There are other ways but mostly by plane.) Downhill ride, Llogara Pass, Albania

I spent 3 weeks with my family (wife and son) cycling in Albania. One of the highlights was speeding down from 1027 metre high Llogara Pass between Vlore and Himare in the south.

Abbey Lincoln started her career in the mid-50s and continued to cut high quality records until her late 70s. This song was originally published on her 1961 album titled Straight Ahead. Originally a Billie Holiday song, she recorded it with Coleman Hawkins, Eric Dolphy, Booker Little, Mal Waldron and Max Roach. Remark: I do not own the rights to this song. Just posting as a fan.
I enjoy seeing Sal Maglie and Phil Rizutto on the same show.
The only thing about the ' colorized' is that it really lacks the true colors. It's ok I guess but not the same. Loved the show b&w. Anyway I can see it! Lol.

This is good, but they have colorized and speed corrected some very old films, that make them look almost modern. I’d love to see that done to What’s My Line.

In case you like that sort of thing: I just uploaded another colorized episode that I also interpolated to 60fps and I intend to do more (What's my line or even movies) once I figure out how to do colorisation myself.
I wish there were more episodes colorized like this!

Of course it is and not the best job. But it still helps to imagine what it could have been like at the time. No real colour version of the original series exists.
This is real cool - like an experimental Devo ;-) Good playing too. Thanks for posting ;-) I was lucky enough to visit E Germany in '82, yet sadly couldn't get a visa for Hungary... Although I did live & work in Budapest in '97 - Beautiful city, beautiful people. Every evening including weekend lunchtimes and afternoons there was more fantastic live music available (like this) than any other city I've ever visited. And they were many. Hope there's more like this on YT!

This version of Left Alone is hands down the most beautiful, heartbreaking, masterpiece ever to be sung.
Color me different, but I prefer this show in black and white.
For many years Phil Rizzuto was the shortstop for the Yankees. But in August of 1956 he was unceremoniously cut from the team. Phil was quite popular and many Yankee fans were outraged. However the team did put Phil in their broadcast booth and he remained there for almost 40 years.

Indeedy. A voice brimming, overflowing with emotion. She remained an astonishing talent throughout her career as well as a talent scout scooping up the new talent as it emerged. Through her I discovered Steve Coleman back in the 80’s.

Colorized? Uh no....I might call it "tinted", but even to call it that, I'd have to be extremely intoxicated
Daly helped too much with the maternity clothes, but Dorothy was definitely well on the scent, I believe anyway? She's wicked smart. We lost her way too young. Mad respect! btw, mystery guests received $500 for appearing, and if they managed to stump the panelists, just $50 more. So, they left happy no matter what. Easier said than done though, the panelists were all crazy good. That last $50 was like a badge of honor to win.
